Join us on 12/12 from 10a to 12:30p for a hands-on workshop in the Hip Hues Studio! Spots are limited to 6 people. We'll be collaborating with Pepper Palm to offer three different techniques: screen printing, monogrmaming, and kokedama.
Each attendee will customize a table runner (see photos for templates) and wrap a plant using the kokedama technique. In addition, person will choose TWO of FIVE product options to make: (1) Nashville sweatshirt blanket, (2) monogrammed journal, (3) glass tumbler, (4) monogrammed keychain bottle opener, and (5) wooden coaster set.
Kokedama, also known as poor man’s bonsai, is a botanical Japanese art form of wrapping a plant’s roots with soil, moss, & twine. It can be very meditative since the act of wrapping the plant is some what repetitious.
