Introducing the Hip Hues signature workshop collection
September 2, 2015
Looking for something fun to do in Nashville?
Want to learn a skill and make something hands-on?
Do the letters BYOB get you excited?
Then look no further...we have the perfect activity for you!
Hip Hues’ signature collection of BYOB screen-printing workshops.
During these workshops you will learn the entire screen printing process from dark room to ink curing, and you’ll walk out with two finished products that you printed yourself (all while drinking...of course).
In addition to our original Local BYOB Workshop, we've also added 3 new experiences:
1. a tea-themed workshop + tea ceremony
2. a cocktail-themed workshop + demo and tasting
3. a sketch-to-screen workshop - we bring your own original designs to life right there in class
Don’t miss out on these one-of-a-kind Nashville experiences where you'll leave with super rad items (that you printed yourself!) and memories that will last a lifetime.
In commemoration of this special drink collection workshop, one of our co-owners Tracy Dunn will perform a traditional tea ceremony and talk about different loose-leaf tea herbs and their uses. We hope to be included in your fall festivities!
Printing: canvas art print (12" x 16") plus a set of 4 coasters
To pair with our Drink Prints Workshop, we will host a local drink guru who will offer a complimentary classic cocktail mixing demo and tasting during your course. All participants must be 21 years or older and come with a valid form of ID.
Printing: your choice of 2 canvas art prints (12" x 16")
Our inaugural Sketch-to-Screen BYOB Screen Printing Workshop! During this course you will not only learn the entire screen printing process from dark room to ink curing, but also for the first time ever you can take your own custom design (sketch) and transfer it to a screen for print.
We ask that each participant come ready with a hand drawn design or graphic (printed out) that will be traced onto transfer paper to use during the workshop. We will provide the materials you will need to transfer your design to a screen. Each person will print their own design onto their choice of two items: t-shirts, tote bags, and canvas art prints.
There are only 12 spots available for this one-of-a-kind workshop, so hurry while spots are open!
NOTE: There is no set design for this workshop- you create it yourself!
